The Lakeshore Police Service and two RCMP detachments teamed up to remove drugs and weapons from the streets.
The Lakeshore force, along with Mounties from High Prairie and Slave Lake conducted an investigation in Canyon Creek on January 26.
Following the search, three males and two females are facing charges of:
- Participating in activities of a criminal organization
- possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and methamphetamine
- possession for the purpose of production of methamphetamine; and
- possession of instrument for making forged documents
According to a media release, the LRPS continues its investigation into this case and further charges could be on the way.
