The Alberta government is cutting its spending by 2.8 percent. Lesser Slave Lake M.L.A. Pat Rehn says Alberta spends considerably more per resident than other provinces. “A study shows we are spending over 20 percent per-capita higher than: Ontario, British Columbia, Quebec and other provinces similar to us,” says Rehn.
