Manning RCMP local highlights
Manning, Alta. – Manning RCMP have been bolstering our police presence around town with more frequent school visits to have positive interactions with the local youth and the teachers alike.
Manning RCMP members have also been conducting foot patrols through the local Manning Comets hockey games as well as around the downtown core with the desire of fostering our continued friendly relationship with the local businesses and general public alike.
Manning RCMP members were more than happy to join in the festivities of “Light Up The Town” and the Santa Clause Parade as well as join forces with local emergency services for Impaired Driving awareness.
Recently one member was happy to participate in a local curling match and foster good community relations and a good time was had by all.
Manning RCMP would like to thank residents in ranching, farming, and rural communities for their reporting efforts and encourage them to continue to be ever vigilant with their property and that of their neighbours.
Everyone is encouraged to be a set of “eyes and ears” in their community and report suspicious activity of any kind to the Manning RCMP.
Across Alberta, Rural Crime Watch associations are focusing their efforts on farmstead, acreage, and rural property security, as well as property identification and general crime awareness. Programs like Report a Poacher further extend the impact of the initiative, contributing to both rural safety and environmental stewardship.
Communities with active Rural Crime Watch groups often display signage at entry points, signaling their collective commitment to crime prevention. These signs not only deter potential criminals but also reflect the strong partnerships between local residents and law enforcement.
