A search has ended for two individuals caught in the current of the Smoky River.
McLennan RCMP are reporting that the bodies of the two missing persons were recovered from the river on Saturday morning near Watino.
Emergency responders were first dispatched to the scene on Wednesday evening of last week.
The names of the two victims have not been released.
