A Bear on Cocaine what could go wrong!
…for the characters in the movie quite a lot actually. A shipment of cocaine is scheduled to drop over a national park when plans go awry. The pilot knocks himself out and the drugs get scattered everywhere. A bear then ends up consuming the drug and going on a rampage as it hunts for more.
Over the course of the movie, we are introduced to multiple groups of characters. Like a mom and her daughter. The daughter ends up skipping school to try and do some art in the park while her mom must track her down. There is also the group whose drugs were lost and are now trying to find them. Along with a plethora of other characters like a gang, cops, first aid providers and forest rangers. Each group has their own motivations and goals. Seeing each one show up to the park and deal with the events playing out before them is really interesting.
I really enjoyed this movie as I went into it I was told not to have any expectations. So I did exactly that. Coming out of it I was pleasantly surprised. It was a fun time with some dark humour and I never quite knew who was gonna survive the bear or where it would be next. There were some jokes in there that got me laughing and some gory scenes that were wild. I won’t go into too much detail but I can definitely see why this has a higher age rating…aside from the explicit language.
