Construction has commenced on the new Teepee Creek Fire Hall, a vital facility designed to enhance fire protection and emergency response for Teepee Creek and surrounding communities.
The current station, serving the area for over 20 years, has become inadequate due to a growing team of volunteer firefighters and an increase in emergency calls.
The new three-bay fire hall will provide modern training spaces, improved emergency response capabilities, and expanded equipment storage.
Reeve Bob Marshall emphasized the project’s importance, stating it will equip firefighters with the necessary resources to protect the community professionally.
The $4.5 million project is slated for completion by the end of summer 2026
