There are no injuries following a plane crash approximately 25 kilometres northwest of Grande Prairie. According to the County of Grande Prairie, the RCMP, along with firefighters and medics, were dispatched to look into a report of a downed aircraft near Bear Lake at 6:00 P.M. on Christmas Day. An investigation revealed that a Cessna 150 was forced to make an emergency landing in a farm field near the Grandview Hutterite Colony after the engine lost power.
