NPARA to Host Soil Health Workshop

A Soil Workshop is set to take place next month at the North Peace Applied Research Association’s (NPARA) Research Farm out in the Manning area.

It goes from 9:30 AM until 5:00 PM on June 9, 2017.

Speaking at the event is Dr. Jill Clapperton, who is a world-renowned researcher, international lecturer and advocate who is currently based in Washington State.

She will be talking about measuring soil health, soil organisms, cropping practices, plant physiology and rooting, cover crop mixology strategies and much more.

Organizers encourage farmers to bring their soil and plants, along with their roots, to the event for diagnosis.

A lunch will also be provided at the event.
