The Peace Region Mental Health Task Force is meeting tonight in Peace River.
Topics of discussion include an Apex Security Presentation, which will detail dealings with encampments.
They also plan to discuss a supportive housing program for the community.
And there’s an EMS update scheduled. It’ll cover ambulance calls for mental health, and how the task force can support them.
The Peace Region Mental Health Task Force was formed earlier in the year after concerns surrounding the homeless situation in Peace River started to grow.
At this time the meetings are private, but announcements on future programs and projects are expected in the near future.
