
A 36-year-old man from Berwyn is facing multiple charges after an investigation at a self-storage facility.
At around 5:00 pm on July 4, the Peace Regional RCMP got a call about a disturbance at the facility in question.
When officers showed up, they claimed an individual was behaving erratically.
This led police to investigate further and get a search warrant for the suspect’s storage unit.
Stolen industrial equipment items were recovered at an estimated total value of $30,000.
Kyle Patrick Neel is facing the following charges:
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 (6 counts)
- Failing to comply with conditions of a release order (3 counts)
- Failing to comply with conditions of a probation order (2 counts)
- Possession of ammunition while prohibited from doing so
Neel was in court today but there is no word on the case at this time.
