Peace River, Alta. – On July 15, 2023, at 11:59 p.m., Peace River RCMP received a report of a man pointing a firearm. Investigation has revealed that a suspect stole a truck from the victim’s property. The victim gave chase ultimately confronting the suspect. The suspect pointed a firearm at the victim, however the victim was ultimately able to disarm the suspect. The suspect subsequently fled the scene.
The suspect later walked towards a nearby house, where surveillance pictures were taken. RCMP Police Dog Services were deployed but the track was eventually lost.
