Release from Peace Regional RCMP
On Sept 17, 2023 at approximately 6:30 a.m., Peace Regional RCMP responded to reports of a firearm being discharged in the area of 47 Ave and 53 Street in Grimshaw.
RCMP attended the scene and found evidence of firearm discharged at a residence.
The investigation is still ongoing and RCMP are requesting community members to review footage on their security systems, doorbell cameras or dash cams in this area around the time of the offense and to contact RCMP should you feel there is anything of value such as vehicles driving by or suspicious persons.
RCMP believe this to be a targeted event and the public is not believed to be at risk.
Police would like to thank the public for their assistance and cooperation thus far.
