Swan Hills RCMP execute search warrants following drug tip
Swan Hills, Alta. – On March 7, 2022, Swan Hills RCMP received a Crime Stoppers Tip regarding a local adult male allegedly selling cocaine. Swan Hills RCMP entered into a Controlled Drug and Substance Act (CDSA) investigation.
On July 20, 2022 Swan Hills RCMP, with assistance from High Prairie, Faust, Slave Lake and Whitecourt Traffic Services, executed three separate search warrants in Swan Hills, in relation to the investigation.
The search warrants resulted in the following being seized:
- 100 grams of suspected cocaine
- 60 grams of suspected methamphetamine
- 262 grams of illicit marijuana
- $200.00 Canadian Currency
Two adult males have been arrested and charges are pending.
