The Peace Regional Women’s Shelter has suffered a setback in their maintenance project,
Officials say that a “Black Mold” issue has surfaced on the second flor of the shelter.
Alternate accomodations have been found and the relocating of residents are underway.
Assessments have been undertaken and recommendations will be provided to the Board.
Anticipation of working with the Ministry of Children and Family Services, Peace River MLA Dan Williams, plus local authorities, to cover costs, will be looked at.
