Final preparations are going well for the 2025 Alberta Pond Hockey Championships.
After warm weather prevented any hockey happening last year, organizer Dave Allen says he’s not concerned about being impacted by mother nature this year.
Some really cold temperatures this winter have helped with the thickness of the ice at Lac Cardinal.
The deadline for teams to register is on Wednesday and Allen says they usually get a number of “last minute” teams signing up.
