It’s School Bus Driver Appreciation Day today in Peace River School Division (PRSD).
Board of Trustees Chairperson Darren Kuester says that school bus drivers are a very important part of their children’s education.
“It’s the first person they see in the morning when they join the school system for the day,” said Kuester. “It’s also the last person they see when they head on home.
“So if you’re out and about,” he continued. “And if you see your local school bus driver, give them a wave, give them a hand shake, say hello, or even thank them for the great service they are doing for the kids.”
