La Crete, Alta. – Fort Vermillion RCMP advise all suspects are in custody. The shelter in place has been lifted.

Fort Vermilion RCMP issue shelter in place
La Crete, Alta. – Fort Vermillion RCMP are issuing a shelter in place for La Crete as they are investigating a shooting. One suspect is outstanding and may be armed.
The incident occurred at Township Road 1082 and Range Road 1133 in Mackenzie County. Residents in the area are asked to stay in their homes and lock all doors. Please do not post the actions of the police on social media.
