Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit investigates homicide in Slave Lake –Update #2
Slave Lake, Alta. – The Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit continues to investigate the multiple stabbings that occurred in Slave lake on June 5, 2022. RCMP have identified the homicide victim as 49-year-old John Gabriel Constance Noskiye of Wabasca.
As a result of continued investigation efforts, officers have laid additional charges against Evan Dacey Alook (25).
Alook has been additionally charged with:
· Second degree murder
· Attempted murder
· Aggravated assault (x2).
Alook has been remanded in custody with his next court appearance set for June 22, 2022, at Slave Lake Provincial Court.
As this matter is before the courts no further comments can be made.

Slave Lake, Alta. – The Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit continues to investigate the multiple stabbings that occurred in Slave lake on June 5, 2022. RCMP have identified the homicide victim as a 49-year-old man from Wabasca.
As a result of the investigation, officers arrested Evan Dacey Alook (25) in relation to one of the non fatal stabbings.
Alook has been charged with:
· Attempt murder
Alook has been remanded in custody pending further court appearances.
Alook remains a suspect for the homicide and the Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit continues to investigate the circumstances into this incident.

Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit investigates homicide in Slave Lake
Slave Lake Alta. – On June 5, 2022 at 3:11 p.m. , Slave Lake RCMP received a report of a possible stabbing victim in the South West area of Slave Lake. Officers located a 22-year-old male with multiple injuries. Officers made patrols of the area and located another 28-year-old male with injuries. Both individuals were transported by EMS to hospital. As police continued to search the area, they located a deceased victim. Officers secured the area and called in the Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit who has taken over the investigation.
The male victim has yet to be identified.
