Second last cruiser day and we decided to pack lotta things for this one trip! We first started off at the farmers market it is always great to see all the vendors I recognized a couple familiar faces from the last couple of times I’ve been there and I also saw some new faces. I got a couple of snacks for the rest of the day here as well. You can’t go wrong with freeze dried ice cream.
Next, I went to join Paddle The Peace for lunch at Strong Creek and let me tell you that the sign for the park is super confusing. When the sign says turn left to get to the park…DON’T instead take your next left…stupid sign. I learned that one the hard way because as soon as I pulled into someone’s driveway I thought to myself that this couldn’t be right. Once I ACTUALLY got to the park it was a great time everyone was out…paddling the peace has been going on for a couple of years now and if you do want to paddle the full length you can always join them here at the halfway point which is a great idea. They had live music and a catered lunch it was a great afternoon.
After that, I hung out at the mighty peace golf course and got to shake hands with the man the myth the legend Kevin Martin and got a picture too!
