  • Fort Vermilion RCMP are investigating a homicide in John’or Prairie.
    Police went to the medical centre, where a male had been assaulted and dropped off.  He later died, and the case has been deemed a homicide.
  • RCMP Major Crimes are investigating a body found in a wooded area near Westside Park.
    The body was found around noon on Monday.

  • NDP Private members bill submitted yesterday in legislature.
    If passed, it would legislate a four-year cap on rent increases and force the government to report on how much affordable housing is being built each year.
