This despite no official word on the Ministerial Order for transfer from the GP and District Catholic School Division to the Holy Family Catholic Regional Division. - Registration is continuing to be accepted for the annual Peace River Job Fair.
Forms for businesses participating can be found on the Chamber’s website and Facebook page, as well as the Economic Development Committee’s website. - A Boil Water Advisory is in place in Fairview. It’s due to an issue with the water system in the town.
This advisory joins a similar advisory in Donnelly, which are also in place until further notice. - Crews are continuing to gain the upper-hand on fires in the area, but new fires keep popping up, thanks to Mother Nature.
Fire 72 in the High Level Forest area is burning out of control, about 45 KM west of Zama City. Fire 61, north of Fox Lake continues to be out of control, at nearly 107,000 hectares. (Lightning) - Schools in Jasper will open for classes on Sept. 17.
