- The execution of a search warrant is continuing in an area outside of Valleyview by RCMP and the ALERT team.
Police say the operation is expected to last through the weekend, as the dismantling of a suspected Drug Lab continues. One person has already been taken into custody. - The provincial Government is pouring $17.4 million dollars into Physician bursaries, First Responder Grants, and Medical Responder Grants.
Many locales in the Peace Region, like Spirit River, Beaverlodge, Fairview, and McLennan, among others have experienced doctor shortages on a very frequent basis lately. - Whether in town, out in the country, or out on the road, residents need to wary of potential dangers with wildlife encounters.

Peace River’s Bantam team play tomorrow in Sexsmith against the GP Broncos. - NWJHL tonight… Peace River is in Dawson Creek, Beaverlodge is in Grande Prairie, and Fort St. John is in Sexsmith.
- AEHL this weekend… The U-13’s play at home to Wainwright tonight and tomorrow. The U-15’s play tomorrow and Sunday in Fort McMurray. The U-18’s play tomorrow at home to Leduc.
- NJHL this weekend… The High Prairie Red Wings play tomorrow in Lac La Biche, and Sundaty in Mayerthorpe.
- AJHL this weekend… The Grande Prairie Storm play tonight at home to Canmore.
- The rain and cool temperatures are expected to last throughout the day today in the Northwest.
Highs this afternoon are only being in the single digits, with lows tonight around freezing. Numbers are expected to warm back up this weekend, and into next week.
