- Authorities in Grande Prairie are continuing with their investigation into the discovery of a body, northwest of the city.
Reports indicate a woman was found Monday afternoon. Autopsies are to be conducted today, but police are looking for information and possible dash cam footage. - Organizational meetings are taking place in many jurisdictions in the Peace Country. Josh Knelsen and Walter Sarapuk have been re-elected as the Reeve and Deputy Reeve of Mackenzie County.
Meanwhile, Tyler Airth and Jim Zabolotniuk have been elected as Reeve and Deputy Reeve of Big Lakes County. - Small Business Week is being celebrated this week, with the campaign being to Hug an Entrepreneur today.

El Toro, Fernando Valenzuela spent parts of 18 seasons in the Major Leagues, primarily with the LA Dodgers.Valenzuela was a 6-time all-star, won a World Series in 1981 with the Dodgers, and had his #34 retired by the team last August.
He passed away yesterday after a brief illness in Los Angeles. Fernando Valenzuela was 63 years of age. - Sunshine and seasonal temperatures are forecasted for today in the Northwest. Highs this afternoon are in the mid single-digits, with lows tonight just below zero.
