- The Peace River School Division has appointed Dr. Jeff Thompson as the Acting Superintendant, as of mid-November.
He takes over from Adam Murray, who resigned in September to be the Superintendent of the Yellowknife Catholic School Division. - Farm Credit Canada has awarded Grant money to community groups in the Peace Region.
One of them is the Guy/Donnelly Sportex Society to install a chiller in the arena to run the ice plant. - Deadlines have been extended to submit nominations for the Davis Business Awards in Peace River.
The Chamber says that November 11th is now the end date for recommendations. - Furnaces are starting to fire up again, as the weather and temperatures head towards the winter.
