- Alberta Health Services has issued a Boil Water Advisory for the communities in the MD of Smoky River.
Specifically, Falher, Girouxville, Guy, Donnelly, Jean Cote, Smoky River Water Co-op Station, and the Smoky River Water Co-op fill station have been affected. - Investigations are continuing into Thursday’s apartment fire in Peace River’s North end.
Report’s indicate crews responded mid afternoon at a building on 99th street, and were present till the early hours of Friday at the blaze. - St. Thomas More School in Fairview is celebrating their Grand Opening of their Portable school this morning.

Canada Post says it has presented the union with a framework to reach negotiated agreements in the dispute that is threatening the busy holiday season. - The cost of beef continues to rise, reaching record highs on grocery store shelves ahead of the busiest time for many grocers and butchers before the holiday season.
One kg of ground beef is now averaging at $13 compared to $10 in 2020. A sirloin steak is averaging around $22, compared to under $16 in 2016. - Three games in the NHL tonight… New Jersey is at the Rangers, Chicago’s in Toronto, and Dallas is in Utah.
