  1. Peace Regional RCMP have released more information on a missing person case that they’re investigating.
    33 year old Justin Jesse Christian was last seen in the early morning hours on Wednesday of last week. (Descriptions on App)
  2. ATCO is continuing their installation of a temporary tank at its |Gate 2 facility on River Road in Peace River.
    The company site the discovery of oil within the station and distribution pipeline system.The project sub-contractor mobilized yesterday, and will set up and commission the tank today.
  3. LGBTQ+ advocates say they’ve followed through with their plan to challenge Alberta’s three transgender bills in court, starting with one that bars doctors from providing gender-affirming treatment such as puberty blockers and hormone therapy for those under 16.
    The groups argue Bill 26 violates gender-diverse young people’s section 7-right to security of the person, their section 12-right to be free from cruel and unusual treatment and their section 15 right to equality.
  4. The Canada Post strike involving more than 55,000 workers has hit 25 days.
    Canada Post says it is awaiting a formal response from the Canadian Union of Postal Workers to the proposal it submitted to the union Friday.

    It’s a 15-year, $765 Million dollar deal.
  8. A mix of Sun and cloud is forecasted for the Northwest this afternoon, but temps are slowly on their way down.
    Temps are still around zero in the Peace and Big lakes, but will fall to -15, and even to around -25 in some sections of the Mackenzie.
    Snow could appear come mid-week, but will clear off by the end, but winter digits will still be present.
