- The RCMP is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible in the disappearance of a young Fairview mother.
20 year-old Shae-Lynn McAllister was last seen in July of 2019 at the Shell Gas station in town, after she left work at the A&W. - Controlled burns are continuing in the Northwest, in preparation of the heart of Wildfire season.
Now, burns are happening with fire officials around the Sturgeon Lake area, west of Valleyview. - Nearly $500,000 has been programmed to Fire departments for training in Birch Hills County, Big Lakes County, Northern Sunrise County, and the town of High Prairie.
As well, over a million dollars has been given to 65 Metis Settlements, First Nations and jurisdictions across the province. - The Ice Advisory has ended near Peace River…
The waterway has had thermal break-up occur and is continuing downstream. - $1.1 million dollars is being earmarked for design, location, and classroom layout, among other things, to ensure engagement between school boards and the community.
The School Board receiving money in the Peace region, is the Peace River School Division for buildings in Peace River and Fairview. - This year’s Budget of the Town of High Level, is now available in literate form.

- Greg Millen played 14 seasons in the NHL, as a goaltender for six different teams in the 80’s and early 90’s.
After his playing days, Millen moved to the Broadcast booth. He passed away at home in Peterborough Ontario. Greg Millen was 67 years of age. - A mix of sun and cloud will be seen in the skies this afternoon in the Northwest. Highs are in the low teens, with lows tonight just below zero.
