    About 27,000 people are on evacuation order, including residents of Yellowknife.
  • The proposed Wind Farm Project in the Peace River Area has been put on hold.
    The $11 million dollar construction will have to wait after the government imposed a six-month moratorium.
  • Recent Arrests: Peace River’s Jennifer Jatho for allegedly Trafficking Cocaine & Fentanyl.
    Darcey Lloyd Brett – Charges include Break and Enter, Assault, Uttering Threats.
  • The provincial government is putting $335 million into paving roadways ($80 million more than the previous budget).
    14 of the 42 projects are planned for the Peace Region.
  • The new provincial parliamentary secretaries have been sworn in.
