The Northernlink Agriculture and Home Show is finally here, and Fairview is thriving with guests coming from all over the region. Ron Heck of the Friedenstal Historical Society says the event had a little under 1,000 people attending, and there’s expected to be even more tomorrow.
“We’re banking on a huge crowd tomorrow. We have pancake breakfast served in the Fairplex, and its all courtesy of local sponsors,” says Heck.
Heck explains the camaraderie between the organizers is what made him the most excited for the show. He says during the planning of the show, they reached out to as many organizations as they could to get as much help as possible.
“It’s a major, major event and it takes a lot of people.”
Heck makes special mention of the events going on at the show, which include live music, a dance, kids activities, and of course, tomorrow’s pancake breakfast. Heck notes the event brings a lot of people into town, and the show is full of smiling faces.
“Everybody’s having a wonderful time, we have a lot of activities for kids, free door prizes, and it’s just been an awesome day today.”
The Northernlink Agriculture and Home Show continues tomorrow, April 7th at 10 A.M..
