The Peace River Royals had two away games this weekend in Bonnyville and Wainwright. Despite a good effort, the Royals lost both games.
On Saturday, the Royals lost 4-3 to the Lakeland Panthers. Honourable mentions for this game are Ashton Wald, Tanner Lins and Cole Isaac who all made goals. Affiliate goalie, Nickholas Elkins made 23 saves in the game.
On Sunday, the Royals lost 7-5 to the Wainwright Polar Kings. Goals from this game came from Ashton Wald, Tanner Lins, Cole Isaac, Carson Schumann and Corey Isaac. Dominic Bernetic had a 30 save effort.
The Royals will be playing their next local game on October 28th in High Prairie at the Gordon Buchanan arena against the St. Albert Crusaders at noon.
