Well Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson made an announcement of an upcoming live action adaption of the 2016 hit Disney animated movie Moana. The movie has personal ties for The Rock given growing up in Hawaii and being Samoan he explains in the video announcement. He made a great announcement video for the adaption that is still in the early stages of production with his some of his kids on a beach. It makes me believe The Rock will play Maui, the character he voiced in the animated film. I will be curious to see how this turns out especially with a live action Lilo and Stitch coming out at somepoint.
