
Three people from Fairview are awaiting a court date after being charged with possession of various drugs and stolen property.
According to the Fairview RCMP, people approached the detachment concerned about drug trafficking in the community.
On November 14, another branch of the Mounties searched a residence in the area of 104 Avenue and 101 Street.
Officers ended up seizing: a quantity of methamphetamine, GHB, drug paraphernalia associated with trafficking, a quantity of Canadian currency and stolen property of a value exceeding $5,000.
Robert William Allen, 54, Brittany Bree Salmond, 34, and Tyler Ellery Horne, 30 are jointly charged with:
- Possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking
- possession of GHB for the purpose of trafficking;and,
- possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
Salmond and Horne will be in a Fairview courtroom on February 24, while Allen has a court date of December 14 in Peace River.
