Three individuals from County of GP charged following search warrant near Dimsdale

***RCMP News Release***

On December 29, 2021, Western Alberta District Rural Crime Reduction Unit executed a search warrant at a rural property near Dimsdale, Alta., west of Grande Prairie. During the execution police recovered two stolen cargo trailers, tools, a stolen ATV, a stolen 2018 Ford F150, three firearms, approximately 40 grams of methamphetamine, drug trafficking paraphernalia, and $2200 in Canadian currency believed to be proceed of crime.

Jessica Hollands (30) and Andrew MacPherson (37), both from the County of Grande Prairie, are each charged with 4 counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000.

Jeremy MacNaughton (44), from the County of Grande Prairie, is charged with 4 counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000, Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Proceeds of Crime Under $5000, and several firearms offences.

All three were released from custody to appear in Grande Prairie Provincial Court on February 16, 2022.

“Our unit remains dedicated to identifying, disrupting, and charging those responsible for property and drug offences in rural Alberta communities and bringing them before the courts; and to recover and return stolen property to it’s rightful owners” says Sgt. Chris Power of the Rural Crime Unit. “In this case we were able to return stolen property to hard working small business owners whose livelihoods depend on the vehicles and tools these individuals chose to steal”.
