
The Town of Peace River is trying to access the damage from last weekend’s flood,
The town issued a survey and is hoping to hear from business owners and residents in the downtown area whose properties got significantly wet.
According to a spokesperson with the town, the hope is to show the data to the provincial government in hopes of getting funding.
Downtown peace River was flooded last Saturday evening when an ice jam at the Pat’s Creek culvert caused a backup.
