A couple players on the La Crete Lumber Barons will be playing next season at the Junior A level.
Defenseman Jacob Paul and forward Jonah Cardinal have commitments for next season with the Yarmouth Mariners of the Maritime Hockey League.
Both were important players for the Lumber Barons helping them win the NWJHL championship and a silver medal at the Junior B Provincials.
Cardinal was one of their top offensive stars with 42 goals during the regular season.
Paul meanwhile averaged just over a point per game during the NWJHL playoffs.
