
A woman from Valleyview is facing charges for ramming into some police vehicles in Grande Prairie last week.
Officers saw a suspicious vehicle in the north side of the city just after 4 AM last Wednesday, but when they attempted a traffic stop, the suspect attempted to evade police.
The driver was eventually caught in another neighbourhood after she drove into occupied police vehicles and attempted to get past them, causing a substantial amount of property damage.
The driver of the vehicle, 26 year old Becki Mustus of Valleyview, is facing the following charges.
– Flight from Police Officer
– Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle
– Assault on a police officer with a weapon x 2
– Fail to stop after collision
– Breach of conditions of release order
– Operate uninsured motor vehicle
– Operate motor vehicle without a licence
She will appear in Grande Prairie Provincial Court today.
