Vegas-Seattle Winter Classic Jersey Unveiled

January 1st to kick off the new year the Vegas Golden Knights and Seattle Kraken will do battle at T-Mobile Park and the special jerseys have been unveiled.

Usually the jerseys are a nod to a teams past as well as the city it represents but with the 2 newest teams in the league the nod to the past is a little more difficult to pull off. So the jerseys will feature more vintage looking details than most like the Oilers and Flames did earlier this year.  Safe to say to have them doing an outdoor game for the franchises is a great idea but the jerseys are lacking compared to past winter/stadium/heritage classic jerseys in the past.

Here is a full image put out describing what the jerseys have and what they represent:

Like I said before I find them lacking especially for a team like Vegas, playing in a city with a rich heritage of being big an flashy for it to be so plain and dull. The Vegas writing on the pants are the only solid thing about their uniforms. Seattle can be more plain in their look but it’s a winter classic not a heritage one.

Safe to say I’m not asking Santa for either of these jerseys for Christmas or would ever buy one.

Let me know your thoughts
