We had a chance to catch up with Arnold Viersen on the latest news from Ottawa.
The Tory MP for Peace River-Westlock says he is worried that the federal government may not table a budget for the second consecutive year.
Viersen tells us he is hearing that a budget could be brought forward in May.
We also talked to Viersen about:
- Bill C-15, which calls for the United Nations Declaration of the Rights of Indigenous People to be used in Canada, and the issues the conservatives have with the bill
- his concern with the expansion of who can be included for Medical Assistance in the Death Bill; and,
- the government’s refusal to make a decision on whether to allow Huawei to be involved in the building of Canada’s 5G network.
The full conversation with Viersen can be found below.
