Some money from the provincial government’s budget will be coming to the Peace Region for different projects.
Peace River MLA Dan Williams says there will be money spent locally on Health Care and Infrastructure.
“For example, $2.5 million coming to Peace River and region for some of the really important work around modernizing, updating and maintenance on our health facilities. In addition, we still see the projects ongoing in Manning, finishing the Del-Air lodge and the school in Manning.”
He says one of his main priorities is getting people more access to health care resources.
“I thank every single front line practitioner of health care that decides to go into that field and I doubly thank them when they remain in our communities up north, or are recruited to come and live in our beautiful Peace Country. We know we need to do more of that, which is why we’re focusing on a long term sustainable vision to train and recruit more.”
