RCMP in Red Earth Creek have 32 year-old Tyler Cowan in custody on drug charges.
In early May, the cops made the arrest after he tried to escape a traffic stop, as he was driving while suspended.
Residents in Grouard are under a Water shutdown and Boil Water Advisory, because of a paving project in the Hamlet.
Several water valves are being replaced in the roadway, thus water service being shut off at 9am this morning, and the Advisory being in place until further notice.
Training Exercises are happening in Fort Vermilion this week, as members of the “1 Service Battalion” are conducting reconnaissance and planning activities.
