Totals are in from this year’s McHappy Day 2026 fundraising campaign, which took place May 6.
Locally, the Peace River McDonald’s restaurant raised $12,243.75. Nationally, this year’s campaign brought in $10.8 million.
Funds were raised through a portion of food and beverage sales, McHappy Day socks and merchandise, round-up donations, and in-store heart purchases.
Proceeds from McHappy Day support families accessing care through Ronald McDonald House Charities Canada and other local children’s charities, helping provide accommodations, meals, mental health and wellness support, and other essential services while a child receives medical treatment.
