Canada Wide Warrant Issued For Alberta Man

rcmp+logo+newPrince George RCMP issued a Canada Wide Warrant for a man wanted for sexual offences that occurred in Prince George more than 20 years ago.

Rupert William Burr, 55, is a former resident of Prince George. RCMP say in a release, he has been wanted in British Columbia since 1998, for offences that occurred in 1993. Burr’s where-a-bouts are not known.

In 1994, Burr was described as:

  • Caucasian male
  • 183 cm (6’0″)
  • 100 kg (221 lbs)
  • Green eyes
  • Brown hair
  • With scars on his left wrist and the bridge of his nose

Burr was born in Alberta in 1961 and is believed to have resided in Worsley, as recently as 2015. Police believe he is aware that he is wanted and may be using a false name.
