On April 9th, Alberta Health Services confirmed 28 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of cases in the province to 1,423.
There are 95 cases of COVID-19 in the north zone and four people have passed away.
32 Albertans have now died from COVID-19.
AHS is reporting that 592 people have recovered from the virus.
The province reports that 97 Albertans are currently in hospital, and 33 people are in the intensive care unit.
To help slow spread or ease fear of catching COVID-19, the government recommends washing one’s hands for at least 20 seconds, and to avoid touching the face.
