Between June 17th and 23rd, 2021 Alberta Health Services confirmed 124 additional cases of COVID-19 in the North Zone.
There are currently 190 Albertans in hospital with the virus and 50 are in ICU.
The total number of active cases in the north zone is 291.
For active cases in our area; there are 16 in Mackenzie County and three in the MD of Peace, while all other surrounding counties and MD’s in our region have five active cases or less.
71.3% of eligible people in the province have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 34.3% are fully vaccinated.
On June 24th, 2021 the province hit 4 million doses of vaccines delivered to Albertans.
The percentage of people around the region receiving at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine is:

- Peace River area – 43.4%,
- Spirit River area – 41.5%,
- Fairview area – 39.9%,
- Manning area – 39.6%,
- Valleyview area – 39.9%,
- High Prairie area – 35.6%
- High Level area (Mackenzie County) – 14.4%
