Peace Regional RCMP responded to a structure fire in Peace River on July 3, 2022, at 12:05 p.m. The investigation has revealed that this fire was not suspicious in nature and was an accidental kitchen fire.

A fire that happened in a building in the North end of Peace River is being investigated.
Peace River RCMP responded to a report of a structure fire in the area of 83 Avenue and 98 Street shortly after 12 p.m yesterday.
The building was safely evacuated and there are no reports of injuries.
The cause of the fire is unknown and remains under investigation at this time.
RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance with any information related to this fire.
