Big Lakes County Fire Services will be assessing every property effected by the wildfire ensuring that the fire has been properly extinguished around each property. We do not have a definitive answer as to which properties have been affected by the wildfire.
The map attached shows the wildfire boundary. Please note, this is an estimation from Alberta Wildfire as to where the fire boundary is.
The current weather conditions are in our favor. However, we are still assessing the wildfire movements. Please respect the mandatory evacuation order. We will inform you when it is safe to return back to your property.
