Getting the crop into the bin is about 90% complete in the Peace Region, according to experts, and a lot of factors played into this year.
The early spring with a little bit of shower activity helped, even though some of the crop growth was slowed down by smoke from nearby fires in May, June and August.
With the early completion of the Harvest, some farmers are looking ahead with prep work for the Winter and next Spring seasons.
