Officials are trying to salvage the season, but just because of the weather this winter.
Misery Mountain Ski Resort in Peace River has been open for the past few weeks, for skiers and snowboarders.
The Mountain is partially open with selected runs operating.
Officials are also very happy that the youth have taken in this year, and will possibly appear for Convention Break next week.
