PCBFA & NPARA Holding Presentations on “Your Farm’s Environmental Footprint”

The Peace Country Beef & Forage Association (PCBFA) is teaming up with the North Peace Applied Research Association (NPARA).

Each group is set to hold a presentation on three different nights, called “Your Farm’s Environmental Footprint.”

Talking points at the presentation includes practical ways to manage your footprint, the negative & positive effects agriculture has on your land, and how to utilize GF2 programs to improve your operation.

Guest Speakers include Mike Hittinger, a Growing Forward Extension Specialist with Alberta Agriculture & Forestry’s (AF) Environmental Programing Unit, as well as Gabriel Ribeiro, who works at the Agriculture & Agri-Food Canada office in Lethbridge.

The first two events go on Monday, November 27, 2017 at the Triangle Hall in High Prairie, and on Tuesday, November 28 at the C.O.C.O. Hall in Wanham. It goes from 5 to 8 PM on both nights.

The third evening sees the presentation go at the Legion Hall in Manning from 7 to 9 PM on Wednesday, November 29.
