Peace Regional RCMP seek public assistance in locating missing person-update

 

Peace River, Alta. – Peace River RCMP advise that William Reid Glenn has bee located safe. RCMP would like to thank the media and public for their assistance. A tip from the public was crucial in locating Mr. Glenn.

BACKGROUND

On April 21, 2024, at approximately 6:45 p.m., Peace Regional RCMP responded to a report of 69-year-old male, William Reid Glenn, a resident of Peace River whom has dementia, wandered away from his care facility in Peace River.

Peace Regional RCMP are concerned for his safety and well-being. William was last seen near the area of the Peace River Hospital walking toward .

William is described as:

Goes by the name Reid
Approximately six feet tall
Approximately 150 pounds
Metal framed glasses
White or light grey hair
Currently has only a mustache
Last seen wearing blue jeans, grey-blue mid-sleeve shirt with black palm trees, black hat with red beak, and a yellow bag with the words “R Glenn” on it, possibly only wearing slippers
Has dementia and may be confused about where he is, or, may attempt to work on a property believing he is working
Has no means of payment or ID
